Over 100 new icons

Microsoft has announced that Windows will gradually be changed and completely redesigned with Fluent Design. After the new Microsoft Office icon set launched in November 2018, Microsoft continues to redesign more than 100 icons available on its applications, including the Windows logo.
Similar to the design of Microsoft Office, the new icons angled at the edges look quite soft. The new design with the appropriate image depth gives the viewer a feeling similar to 3D design. According to Microsoft, Fluent Design is more aesthetically pleasing than designs available since the time of Windows 8.

As you can see in the picture, Microsoft has redesigned the Windows logo with rounded corners instead of the previous flat design. Currently, Microsoft has not released a timeline for the new icon set, but it will be soon.
